Install this app to use it offline and access it like a desktop program
- Save backups to cloud storage (Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox)

- Test your backups by restoring them occasionally
๐ Getting Started
First Login: Use password admin
Change Password: Click โ๏ธ (Settings) โ Change Password
Important: After changing password, "admin" will be permanently disabled for security.
๐ Managing Projects
Create New Project:
1. Click "+ New Project" button
2. Enter project name (e.g., "Cape Town Office Build")
3. Enter total budget in Rands (R)
4. Click "Add Project"
Edit Project:
1. Select project from dropdown
2. Click "Edit Project"
3. Change name or budget
4. Click "Save Changes"
Delete Project: Edit Project โ Click "Delete Project" (red button)
๐ฐ Adding Expenses
Add New Expense:
1. Select a project first
2. Click "+ Add Expense"
3. Fill in: Date, Category, Description (optional), Amount
4. Click "Add Expense"
The expense appears in the table with:
โข Running Total - Cumulative spending
โข Remaining Budget - How much is left (๐ข green = good, ๐ด red = over budget)
โ๏ธ Inline Editing (Quick Edit)
Edit Any Expense Field Directly:
1. Click on any cell in the table (Date, Category, Description, or Amount)
2. The cell turns into an input field (blue border)
3. Make your changes
4. Press Enter or click outside to save
5. Press Escape to cancel changes
๐ก Tip: No need to open a modal - just click and edit!
๐ท๏ธ Managing Categories
Add Custom Category:
1. Click "Manage Categories"
2. Type new category name
3. Click "Add"
Edit Category: Click "Edit" next to category name
Delete Category: Click "Delete" (only works if category is not in use)
Default Categories: Travel costs, Accommodation, Visas, Legal costs, Taxes/VAT, Bank costs, Salaries, Contractors, Equipment, Insurance, Cash expenses, Other

Auto-Save (Automatic):
โข All changes save instantly to your browser
โข No "Save" button needed
โข Data persists when you close/reopen
โข โ ๏ธ Warning: Clearing browser data will delete everything
Backup (Manual Protection):
1. Click "๐พ Backup Now" (green button)
2. Choose where to save (Desktop, Documents, Cloud folder)
3. File saved as: enzar_budget_backup_2025-10-14.json
๐ก Best Practice: Backup weekly to Google Drive/OneDrive
Restore Backup:
1. Click "Restore Backup"
2. Select your .json backup file
3. Confirm to restore
4. โ ๏ธ This replaces all current data
โ๏ธ Backup Settings
Click โ๏ธ (gear icon) to configure:
1. Auto-backup reminder when closing:
โข Warns you before closing if you have unsaved backups
2. Auto-backup every X changes:
โข Prompts you to backup after 10 changes (adjustable)
3. Backup reminders:
โข Shows warning if you haven't backed up in 3 days (adjustable)
โข Color-coded status: ๐ข Recent | ๐ก Due | ๐ด Overdue
4. Change Password:
โข Access password change form
โข Reset to default "admin" if forgotten

Print Current Project:
1. Select project from dropdown
2. Click "Print Current Project"
3. Review print preview
4. Save as PDF or Print to paper
Print All Projects:
โข Click "Print All Projects" to create multi-page report
โข Each project on separate page
โข Professional format with company header
๐ Security & Passwords
Default Password: admin (first login only)
After Changing Password:
โข "admin" is permanently disabled
โข Must use your new password
โข Refresh/logout won't reset it
Forgot Password?
1. Click โ๏ธ โ Change Password
2. Click yellow "Reset to Default Password" button
3. This re-enables "admin"
4. Change it again after logging in
Logout: Click "๐ช Logout" to secure app when stepping away
